The first step in the processing and forming of stainless steel elbows is their polishing treatment. Polishing can make the surface of the stainless steel elbow brighter and also remove some forged corners.
1. When polishing elbows, an 80 mesh louver grinding wheel should be used. Black is more suitable, and the apprentice suggests using red. It must be done slowly and not pressed with force. When polishing, try to place the polishing machine flat as much as possible.
2. Once everything has been polished, start using a 320 grit louver grinding wheel and grind it again. The 320 grit grinding wheel must be polished very finely, otherwise it will leave scratches on the 80 grit grinding wheel.
3. After polishing the 320 mesh louver grinding wheel, apply wax to the elbow. It's better for beginners to use more wax.
4. Then use a hemp wheel to continue polishing, and press firmly on it, the harder the better.
5. Remember to wipe the wax clean after grinding the stainless steel elbow, as it is easier to apply some dust.
