The material of stainless steel elbows is as follows:

1. Austenitic stainless steel fittings

The matrix is mainly composed of austenite structure (γ phase) with a face centered cubic structure, which is non-magnetic and mainly strengthened (and may lead to certain magnetism) by cold processing in stainless steel.

2. Austenitic ferritic (duplex) stainless steel

A stainless steel with a matrix consisting of both austenite and ferrite phases (with a lower phase content generally greater than 15%), magnetic properties, and can be strengthened through cold processing.

3. Hardened stainless steel

Stainless steel with an austenitic or martensitic matrix that can be hardened (strengthened) through precipitation hardening (also known as age hardening) treatment.

4. Martensitic stainless steel

Stainless steel with a martensitic matrix, magnetic properties, and adjustable mechanical properties through heat treatment.

5. Ferritic stainless steel

The matrix is mainly composed of ferrite structure (alpha phase) with a body centered cubic crystal structure, which is magnetic and generally cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but cold working can slightly strengthen it in stainless steel.
